"I would've loved to have heard you telling him where to go. In fact, I'm surprised I didn't as normally you shout when you get abusive."

What is it with TV?? Seriously...must EVERYTHING involve sex or semi naked women???

If you go along with the adverts, apparently Lynx will make women automatically want to have sex with you (well obviously- spray more, get more, right?? Hmmmmmmmmmmm...)...spray it on anything vaguely pole like and they'll be pole dancing for your delight...spray it on yourself, they'll be surrounding you naked within seconds. Now I admit, Lynx does smell nice but would it make me want to have sex with someone? Nope. Is it even the nicest smell in the world?? Nope.
Then the GHD ad would have you believing that women actually straighten their hair in their underwear and then have fights that would have men all over the world getting excited...it doesn't happen guys, I'm sorry. Apart from anything else, common sense would be to get dressed before you straighten your hair so it doesn't get all messed up when you put your clothes on.

And finally, the ad that is really annoying the CRAP out of me at the moment is the McDonalds one. The one with the bagels. In case you haven't seen it, a guy goes to McDonalds, gets bagels takes them back to his girlfriend in bed, she says she wont tell his mates he made her breakfast in bed, he insists they're from McDonalds, she says they don't do bagels, he's says they do, she says she loves him, he looks at her in horror.... what the hell is all that about???? Am I one of the seemingly very few people to whom sex still means something?? Is it just a bit of fun and nothing more to all but about 5 people??
I love the quote in Clueless where Dee tells the other one (can't remember her name) that Cher is still a virgin and (other one) asks cher if it's true and Cher says technically it is but she's fussy about her shoes and they just go on her feet.

How many women take ages deciding on shoes but sleep with any guy that comes along???
Am I the only person who sees something wrong with that????????

What a world *sigh*

"Johnny, you dropped your face! Let me get you a new one!"

You know when you get the feeling you've upset someone or made them mad and you try desperately to watch what you say so you don't make it worse and at the same time you try and say something that will suddenly make them okay again... but there isn't any point asking them if they are mad at you because they'll deny it until the cows come home (and probably after they've left again) and then you're in the same boat that you were before (but this time they know that you know what they think of their boat. Or they know that you think you know what they think of your boat)...anyway, there is no way around it as far as I can tell... just keep tellin' 'em stuff that will make them happy, you hope (and be totally honest or you may as well dig that hole deep enough for your grave) and hope that if you smile sweetly enough, they'll stop being upset or mad and start talking to you properly again.

Dog owners are just too cowardly to bit people themselves

I got back from another amazing weekend with Stef on Sunday. His sister had a party on Saturday and I got to dress up for the first time in ageeeeeeeeeeees and it was so cool!!! I did my makeup as well, which I haven't done for ages....I miss it. I really think guys miss out when they go out because for girls, getting ready is part of the fun (even more so as this was a fancy dress party...I guess even the guys can have fun getting ready for that!)- the whole thing, choosing an outfit, the make up...etc etc. Guys just throw on their clothes, drag a comb through their hair and bada bing bada boom, they're done. Anyway, apparently I looked great (and stunning and beautiful- yay!!) which is soooooooooooooooooooooo cool!! It's so nice to look something other than cute or whatever.

Anyway, leaving is getting harder and harder...on the way to the train station yesterday I was crying. I tried sooo hard to stop but I couldn't. I'm hoping Stef didn't notice (I did try my best to keep quiet and I looked out of the window so he couldn't actually see my face) but I think he probably did. He didn't say anything though so either a) he didn't b) he did but chose to ignore it or c) he didn't want to embarrass me or something. I don't think it's a). Anyway, it isn't getting any easier. I should probably be used to it by now but I hate leaving him. Especially when it's to go back to Crapville *sigh* Right now I'd give pretty much anything to be able to get out of here. I'm seriously considering selling everything I own!

"So I can open my own can of pudding can I? Show's how much you know!"

You know when one of your friends has been dumped by someone who was really NO good for them whatsoever anyway, but htey love them and don't want to let them go??

One of my friends has just been dumped by his girlfriend who obviously didn't love him and now he's feeling all crappy about it and keeps saying how he'll never love anyone else and how he only wants her...etc and it's soooooooo frustrating!!!!!

I am sooooooo happy she's dumped him as he really doesn't deserve the way she treated him and I'm finding it hard to be sympathetic because of that...if it was a good relationship, I'd be fully sympathetic but everytime I talked to him all I heard was the problems they were having (99% of the time, her fault) and it clearly was a terrible relationship.

Any advice would be much appreciated!!

"Don't eat muffins while I'm developing you."

I haven't posted on here for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages...

Not a lot has happened since I did though, to be honest.

I went on a fantabulous holiday in Italy from the 16th to the 23rd September- so amazing!! The Amalfi coast is stuuuuuunning!! We went to Pompeii, Mount Versuvious (right up to the summit) and Herculaneum too. They are so AMAZING!! It was so interesting. If you haven't been, GO!!! Such an amazing experience. Quite freaky though, thinking about what happened...especially in Pompeii where they have the bodies and you can see their faces.
If you like history, you have to go!!!!!!

I also spent a week and a bit with Stef from the 29th September to the 10th october, which was nothing short of incredible. I loved it!! We did the usual stuff- Winchester, town, Whitely and then some we havent- Eastleigh and Burley. I was ill for a couple of days and he took suuuuuuuuuch good care of me, getting me glasses of water, getting a flannel for my head, gettign me cough medicine, hugging me everytime I coughed.... I want him around every time I'm ill! It blew me away how nice he was being! (not that I should be surprised!)

And finally...I went to the job centre to sign on yesterday. I don't know if I'll receive jobseekers allowance yet (they'll let me know by post) but just going in there to sign on maked me feel like a deadbeat. Extreme reaction, I guess but...well, it's how I felt. I hated being in there, it just felt like I wasn't supposed to be in there, I'm not one of 'those' people (and I know that not everyone in there will confirm to that stereotype, a lot will be just like me but as I looked around the people around me were exactly that type of person and I just wanted out!) Hopefully I'll get the money though, so it will be worthwhile (to some extent, anyway.)
At the moment though, I just want to get on with my latest attempt at pretending I'm someone.
