"I could tell he wasn't a cat because of the rusksack."
I had quite a cool day today.
We finished work at one (well, we closed at one...the champagne corks were popping at about quarter to!) and then I went home, had a Nutri-grain bar and then went into town with dad.
While we were in town (I had to get some smoothies- I think I have a cold coming on. More about those in a minute! And also a present for my Godparents [who are great and deserve lots!]) we saw Dave and Lizzy, who said they were going bowling at half 3 and asked if we wanted to join them. We said we didn't think we'd be done on time but arranged to meet them there if we were. We went to Boots (for said smoothies and for dad to get mum some things for her stocking, then to Thorntons (for said present), then to Colemans (for dad to get mum some more stocking fillers) and then we had a quick look in Penco and then I rang Lizzy and she didn't answer so we went to the bowling alley to see if they were there and on the way she called back and said they were outside the bowling alley, so we joined them and then Anna and Iain came after a few minutes.
We had a good game- Lizzy and Iain's scores were stupidly high (can't remember exactly but I think Iain's was 135 and Lizzy's was slightly higher.) The rest of us were average- Dave's would have been better but he was practising his spinning! Anyway, while we were there Anna asked me if I want to go with her and Tracey for a meal tonight, so we went to The Fox and Hound pub for a meal which was soooooooooooooooo delicious!! I'm going to have to take Stef there one day! It was a really good price and the portions were great! Fantabulous!
So...these smoothies...
Innocent Smoothies
Not only do these smoothies taste amazing, they are sooo good for you!
Around this time last year, while I was at work I had a cold and was feeling soooooooo groggy and generally just bleurgh so at lunch I went to Boots and bought a Smoothie and I am not joking, the next day my cold had COMPLETLEY gone!! The smoothies have ridiculously high amounts of vitamin C in them (the one I'm drinking now- Blackberries and blueberries- has over 110% of the RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) of the stuff!! Normally, of course, if you have too much Vitamin C your body just gets rid of it but when you have a cold you need more so...these are great!! Little bottles of miracles! And delicious too. Plus the blurb on the bottle is funny. And so is their website. 10/10 for Innocent!
